The articles I include in this personal Blog will include a varied range of subjects that interest me. They will predominantly relate to the United Kingdom (my homeland), Spain and Europe. Any opinions I express will probably not be too contentious, however they are mine and not that of any organisation or group of which I am a member.

HOWZAT!
Play 'Spot the Bail'.
Taken on 31 May 2015 during a match between our Heighington village team and Owmby by Spital. I thought you cricket enthusiasts might like to see this.
A Tufted Duck couple.
The downs and ups of Woodpigeon flight.
Song Thrush.
A change from birds, although it does fly, but not for much longer I understand.
The Vulcan bomber taken on 5 JUne 2015 over the Heighington Fens, Nr. Lincoln. Two of these are similar but you can't see too much of the Vulcan. For those not local to Lincoln the symbol between the Union Jack and the aircraft registration, on the tail fin, is the City of Lincoln emblem.
Two whimsical images today.
Pied Wagtail.

The young Blackbird begged its father for a grape. The male was determined to force feed his fledgling and made several attempts until successful.
Greenfinch portrait.
Starling feeding its little darling.
Sometimes the Blue Tit will raise its blue cap to form a crest to say "Look at me". It worked: It got my attention.
Not a celebrity bird just a Common Tern.
Blackbird on one of his regular perches in our garden.
Black-headed Gull.
(Couldn't decide which I prefer so here are both).
