My Photographs for week ending 24th May 2015

This Coot seemed so intent on disturbing the mirrored surface of the water - perhaps it didn't like the reflection.

Lapwings over Fiskerton Fen, Lincolnshire.

Swallows in flight are difficult to shoot so I am pleased to have got these.

Entomological photographs are not normally something that I take but I saw this caterpillar which I understand will become a Drinker Moth. I thought I would add this shot of a Peacock Butterfly taken recently.

A Wren at Fiskerton Fen Nature Reserve, Lincolnshire.

Grey Heron over Fiskerton Fen, Lincolnshire.

A Blackbird taking some Lincolnshire Sausage, home for the children.

My Daily Photographs for week ending 18 January 2015

This is my first photograph of a Fieldfare.

A Coot fighting the wind and strong current to cross the River Witham at Fiskerton.

Two hanging feeders. A foolhardy or daring individual?

One week ago I showed you two geese on the River Witham at Fiskerton. Here they are looking for food.

Partial rainbow at lunchtime on Friday.

To be able to sing louder and shriller than his competitor Mr Robin puffed-up his chest so much he split his sweater.

A quintessential reminder – a pier, pebbles, people and deckchairs – of summer in the UK.
